Joop Koster

Joop Koster was a Dutch journalist who worked for IKON TV, a religiously affiliated television network in the Netherlands. He was murdered alongside four colleagues on March 17, 1982, while covering the Salvadoran civil war. His death, part of a broader pattern of violence against journalists, underscored the perilous conditions under which reporters operated during this tumultuous period.
