Jos Hittesdorf
Jos Hittesdorf was a young Luxembourgian resistance fighter during World War II, known for his daring sabotage actions against Nazi occupation. In June 1940, he successfully derailed a train, disrupting German transport for a week. After escaping to France, he continued to support the resistance under a pseudonym, Joseph Hendorin, and became a symbol of youthful defiance against tyranny. His legacy is preserved in the Musée National de la Résistance et des Droits Humains.
