Jos Leijdekkers, also known as 'Bolle Jos' in the Netherlands and 'Omar Sheriff' in Sierra Leone, is a 33-year-old Dutch drug trafficker who has gained notoriety as a major player in global narcotics. He was sentenced in absentia to 24 years in prison for drug trafficking and murder by a Rotterdam court in June 2024. Leijdekkers allegedly fled to Sierra Leone after residing in Turkey, where he has reportedly developed connections with members of the local elite, raising concerns about potential corruption and protection from law enforcement.
