José de la Cruz is a community member from Cambita Garabitos who has been vocal about the challenges faced by local students crossing a river to attend the Centro Educativo Daniel Enríquez de la Cruz. He highlighted the dangers and difficulties that residents endure due to the lack of proper infrastructure, such as an unfinished road and the need for a bridge, which have persisted despite previous government efforts.
