José Fernando Madrigal Fallas is the new director of Patrimonio Cultural in Costa Rica, appointed after the departure of Sully López Ruiz. With a background in architecture and a master's degree in rehabilitation, management, and construction technology from the University of Cantabria, Spain, Madrigal has a robust professional history in commercial design and branding. His previous roles include working as the head of the Marketing Unit at the National Insurance Institute and as a creative designer for Malasaña Experiencial Lab. His experience also includes significant projects in Brazil and as a regional architect for Walmart in Mexico and Central America.
