Joseph Chege

Joseph Chege is the chair of the group known as the Njoro Golf Club squatters, who are currently contesting the ownership of land that Kamanga Mukonyoro claims. Chege asserts that his group has historic ties to the land, having inherited it from their parents who worked there since the 1930s. He has indicated plans to appeal the recent court ruling that declared the squatters trespassers.
