Juan Carlos Esquivel

Juan Carlos Esquivel is the executive director of the Centro de Desarrollo Estratégico e Información en Salud y Seguridad Social (Cendeisss) in Costa Rica. He recently announced the details of a new program that will allow Costa Rican doctors to specialize in high-demand medical fields at the University of São Paulo in Brazil, starting in 2026. This initiative is part of a strategic alliance aimed at enhancing medical training and expertise in Costa Rica.
