Julia Sloane, now known as Julia Lorimer, is a New Zealand television personality and author best recognized for her role on the reality series 'The Real Housewives of Auckland.' She gained international attention in 2016 for a controversial racial slur made during the show. Beyond reality television, she has co-hosted the award-winning documentary 'Let’s Talk About Sex,' which explores various facets of Kiwi sexuality. Lorimer is also a children's author, having recently published her fourth book, 'Kākāriki and the Worm Garden.' She is currently working on her first novel, inspired by true events, and her recent encounter with Philip Polkinghorne, a former eye surgeon acquitted of murdering his wife, has brought her back into the news.
