Julio Portillo

Julio Portillo is a Guatemalan politician and member of the Cabal party, who serves as a deputy in the Congress of Guatemala. He has been involved in several controversies, including accusations of extortion and abuse of authority, particularly related to his interactions with municipal officials. Recently, he faced serious allegations from the mayor of La Unión, Edvin Gustavo Galván, who claimed that Portillo threatened him and demanded bribes in exchange for project approvals. Portillo denied these allegations, stating that they are false and challenged Galván to provide evidence to the authorities.
