Jurema Machado

Jurema Machado is a prominent Brazilian cultural heritage expert and former president of the Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (Iphan), where she served until 2016. She has played a significant role in the preservation of Brazil's historical sites and has been recognized for her contributions to cultural heritage management. Recently, she was in the news for her association with the Instituto Pedra, which has been awarded a contract for the renovation of the Praça dos Três Poderes in Brasília.
