JW Milam

JW Milam was the half-brother of Roy Bryant and was implicated in the kidnapping and murder of Emmett Till in 1955. Alongside Bryant, he was acquitted of the charges by an all-white jury and later confessed to the crime in a publication, but like Bryant, could not be retried under US law.
