Kaitlyn Chin
Kaitlyn Chin is a recent graduate of Sumner High School in Hillsborough County, Florida, who, alongside her classmates, advocated for legislation to support military children facing challenges in school transitions. With a personal connection as the daughter of a veteran, she was motivated to address the issues that military families encounter, such as credit transfers and enrollment delays. Her efforts culminated in the successful passage of a law that mandates training for educators on the Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission (MIC 3), aimed at easing the educational challenges faced by military students.
