Kamal Palari

Kamal Palari is a community worker actively involved in conservation efforts for the Indus fishing cat in Sindh’s Thatta district. His work with the Indus Fishing Cat Project has focused on reducing hunting incidents of the species by educating local populations about their ecological importance and dispelling myths regarding their threat to livestock and crops. Palari’s efforts have contributed to a noticeable decline in conflicts between the fishing cat and local communities.
