Karekin II is the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, holding a significant role in the Armenian Apostolic Church. Since his election in 1999, he has worked diligently to promote peace, reconciliation, and interfaith dialogue, especially in the context of the Armenian Genocide and its aftermath.
