Karen Porras

Karen Porras is the executive director of the Unión Nacional de Gobiernos Locales (UNGL), an organization advocating for the autonomy of local governments in Costa Rica. Recently, she called for dialogue and respect for institutional processes following the government's intervention in Naranjo's water supply, which was seen as an infringement on municipal authority.
