Lourdes Suárez

Lourdes Suárez is the executive president of the Instituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AyA), responsible for ensuring access to potable water in Costa Rica. She has been vocal about the constitutional right to water, defending the agency's actions to intervene in local water supply issues, particularly in the case of the La Esperanza housing project in Naranjo.
