Kashyap Patel

Kashyap Patel is an Indian-American attorney who was appointed as the head of the FBI's Federal Bureau of Investigation unit. Born in 1980, he has previously served as a senior legal advisor to the National Security Advisor and has held significant roles in intelligence-related committees. Patel is known for his close association with former President Donald Trump, who nominated him for the FBI position, which subsequently received Senate approval. He grew up in South Africa before moving to the United States, where he pursued a law degree from University College London.
