Kateri Heymans

Kateri Heymans is a 29-year-old Spanish teacher in Minneapolis who became a legal observer the day after Renee Good was fatally shot by an ICE officer. Alarmed by the increasing presence of federal agents in her community, she joined a network of trained volunteers dedicated to monitoring immigration enforcement actions.
