Käthe Liebermann

Käthe Liebermann was the daughter of the acclaimed German painter Max Liebermann. She played a vital role in preserving her father's legacy and was deeply affected by the impact of World War II and the rise of the Nazi regime on her family. Käthe managed to flee to the United States in 1938, escaping the fate that befell many of her family members, including her mother, who tragically took her own life to avoid deportation during the Holocaust.
