Katie Yu

Katie Yu is a Vancouver-based financial professional who turned to gardening during the COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020. Initially starting with a few seedlings in her apartment, she has since expanded her gardening efforts to a larger outdoor space in Port Moody, B.C., where she cultivates a variety of vegetables and flowers. Yu finds that spending time in her garden helps her manage the demands of her career, where she oversees 350 employees, providing a sense of fulfillment and grounding amidst her busy work life.
