
Kaysone Phomvihane
Kaysone Phomvihane was a key figure in Laotian history, serving as the first Prime Minister and later as the General Secretary of the Laotian People's Revolutionary Party from 1955 until his death in 1992. He played a significant role in leading the country through its post-colonial period and the establishment of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in 1975.
