Kelli Cargile Cook

Kelli Cargile Cook is a professor emeritus who founded Texas Tech University’s Department of Professional Communication. With a teaching career spanning over four decades, she recently expressed her discontent with new classroom policies regarding race and gender topics, leading her to withdraw from teaching a class she had planned for the spring semester and consider resignation.
