Khaled Kelal
Khaled Kelal was involved in the violent activities of the Armed Islamic Group (GIA) during the Algerian Civil War. He gained notoriety for his role in a series of terrorist attacks in France in the mid-1990s, including the assassination of the imam Abdelbaki Sahraoui, which marked the beginning of a unprecedented wave of violence in the country. Kelal was ultimately apprehended in a police operation on September 29, 1995.
