Komalpreet Kaur

Komalpreet Kaur was a 19-year-old Indian international student who tragically lost her life after being struck by a car in a Perth shopping centre carpark. Originally from Ludhiana, Punjab, she had moved to Australia in 2025 to pursue her studies in community services at Stanley College while also working part-time. Her vibrant personality and ambition left a lasting impression on her friends and the local community, who came together to raise funds exceeding A$82,000 to support her family with funeral expenses and the repatriation of her body to India.
