Kuriakose Elias Chavara

Kuriakose Elias Chavara was a prominent Indian priest and social reformer from Kerala, canonized by Pope Francis in 2014. He co-founded the Congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate and was known for his contributions to education and social upliftment in India, particularly among the marginalized.
