Kyung-ha
Kyung-ha, now known as Laurie Bender, is a Korean adoptee who was kidnapped as a child in 1975 and subsequently adopted by a family in the United States. After spending decades searching for her biological mother, she was reunited with her mother, Han Tae-soon, in 2019, which revealed the traumatic history of South Korea's overseas adoption practices.
