Leah Shakdiel

Leah Shakdiel is a 74-year-old Orthodox rabbi and an outspoken advocate for justice and equality in Israel. She has been invited by the Bnei Avraham community to participate in their protective efforts in the West Bank. Shakdiel critiques the growing intertwining of religious faith and nationalism in Israel, and she opposes the radical interpretations of Judaism that support settler violence against Palestinians.
