Leandro Cacau

Leandro Cacau is a researcher at the Núcleo de Pesquisas Epidemiológicas em Nutrição e Saúde at the University of São Paulo (Nupens/USP). He is the principal author of a recent study published in the Revista de Saúde Pública, which highlights the alarming prevalence of ultraprocessed foods in the diet of Brazilians, particularly noting that these foods constitute 30.5% of the diet in Florianópolis.
