Leila do Vôlei

Leila do Vôlei is a Brazilian politician and former volleyball player, currently serving as a senator representing the Federal District. Known for her advocacy in sports and social issues, she is the president of the Senate Sports Commission. Recently, she made headlines for presenting a formal vote of repudiation against the Paraguayan football club Cerro Porteño, following racist incidents directed at players from the Palmeiras team during a Copa Libertadores Sub-20 match.
