León Cadogan

León Cadogan was an Argentine-born ethnographer who became a naturalized Paraguayan, renowned for his self-taught study of Guaraní culture. He significantly contributed to the preservation of the oral literature and mythology of the mbyá-guaraníes, notably through his publication of "Ayvu Rapyta," which remains a critical source for understanding the worldview of this indigenous group.
