Leonardo Bertulazzi

Leonardo Bertulazzi, a former member of the Italian terrorist group Brigate Rosse, was recently in the news following the Argentine Supreme Court's approval of his extradition to Italy. At 74 years old, Bertulazzi, who was known by the alias 'Stefano,' was previously involved in the 1977 kidnapping of naval engineer Piero Costa in Genoa, a crime aimed at financing terrorist activities. After being arrested in Buenos Aires in August 2023, his refugee status was revoked by the Argentine government, leading to his extradition proceedings.
