Leonid Charčenko

Leonid Charčenko is a Ukrainian national who, alongside two Russian individuals, was convicted in absentia by a Dutch court for his involvement in the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in July 2014. He received a life sentence for participating in the actions that led to the tragic crash, which claimed the lives of 298 people on board.
