Leonida Lari-Iorga

Leonida Lari-Iorga was a Moldovan poet, publicist, and politician who passionately advocated for the reunification of Bessarabia with Romania. She was a key figure in the national emancipation movement of Bessarabia during the late 1980s and early 1990s, serving as a deputy in the Supreme Soviet of the USSR and later in the Romanian Parliament.
