Leopold Mozart

Leopold Mozart (1719–1787) was a prominent German composer, music teacher, and violinist, best known as the father and educator of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. He played a significant role in shaping his son's early musical education and career, while also composing various works himself, including symphonies, chamber music, and instructional texts on music theory. Leopold was a key figure in the development of classical music in the 18th century.
