Li Huai

Li Huai is an artist originally from Beijing who immigrated to the United States in the mid-1980s. She is the mother of cookbook author Natasha Pickowicz and played a significant role in introducing her daughter to the culinary traditions of their heritage, particularly through the communal experience of hot pot.
