Liliana Tomescu

Liliana Tomescu was a celebrated Romanian actress, born on August 12, 1929, who made significant contributions to theater and film over her 30-year career at the Notarra Theater in Bucharest. After relocating to Sweden in 1980, she continued her artistic endeavors and was recognized as a Citizen of Honor in Stockholm in 1991. Tomescu returned to Romania in 2006 and was awarded the UNITER Prize for her lifetime artistic achievement. She passed away on October 22, 2021.
