Lisa Halaby

Lisa Halaby, known as Queen Noor of Jordan, was born in the United States to a Syrian father. She became the wife of King Hussein of Jordan after their marriage in 1978, which transformed her into a prominent royal figure. Queen Noor is recognized for her humanitarian work and advocacy, particularly in education and women's rights, and she has four children with King Hussein.
