Liu Changyu

Liu Changyu is an esteemed 83-year-old Peking opera artist, renowned for her performances as a flower-dan, with a career that includes iconic roles in classic operas such as 'Red Lantern' and 'Peach Blossom Village'. Recently, she returned to her alma mater, the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, to teach and inspire a new generation of students in the 'Liu Changyu Flower-Dan Performance Talent Training' program.
