Lluís el Pietós

Lluís el Pietós, also known as Louis the Pious, was the son of Charlemagne and ruled as King of Aquitaine and later as Emperor of the Carolingian Empire. His reign was marked by efforts to maintain and defend the empire's territories and to promote Christianity. He is often associated with the historical narrative of Andorra, particularly in relation to the legendary Carta Pobla, which has been debated among historians regarding its authenticity.
