Pere el Gran

Pere el Gran, also known as Peter III of Aragon, reigned in the late 13th century and was pivotal in expanding Catalonia's influence in the Mediterranean. He is noted for his victory in the Sicilian Vespers, which secured control over Sicily for Aragon, and for his efforts to consolidate power amidst territorial conflicts.
