Ločmelis
Ločmelis is a 21-year-old Latvian ice hockey player who recently signed an entry-level contract with the Boston Bruins, joining their AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins. Selected 119th overall in the 2022 NHL Draft, he has spent the last two seasons playing in the NCAA for the University of Massachusetts, where he scored 8 goals and provided 25 assists in 40 games this season. Prior to his college career, he excelled in Sweden's junior hockey league with Luleå, amassing 59 points in 44 games. Ločmelis has also represented Latvia in the last two World Championships and in the qualifying tournament for the 2026 Olympic Games.
