Tralmaks is a 28-year-old Latvian ice hockey player who recently signed a contract with the Detroit Red Wings, marking his entry into the NHL after not having played in the league before. Prior to this, he had an impressive season in the Czech Extraliga with Kladno 'Rytirzi,' where he was the league's top scorer, accumulating 51 points in 48 games. Tralmaks spent two seasons in the American Hockey League with the Providence Bruins, where he tallied 41 points in 87 games. He also played four years in the NCAA for the University of Maine and had a successful junior career in various U.S. leagues.
