Lorena Marisol Rodríguez Rivera, a 37-year-old politician, recently assumed the role of interim mayor of Tequila, Jalisco, following the arrest of former mayor Diego Rivera Navarro. With a brief political career, she was previously a 'servidora de la nación' working for the federal government's Secretariat of Welfare from April 2019 to January 2024.
