Lorenzo De Bonis

Lorenzo De Bonis was a talented marine biologist from Rome, Italy, who was pursuing a PhD at University College Cork. He was a dedicated member of the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group, known for his contributions to dolphin research and genetics. Tragically, he lost his life in a climbing accident while exploring the cliffs of west Cork, leaving behind a legacy of scientific inquiry and a passion for outdoor activities.
