Luckson Elan, also known as 'General Luckson', is the leader of the Gran Grif gang, a significant faction within the Haitian gang coalition Viv Ansanm. Under his leadership, Gran Grif has been implicated in numerous violent incidents, including a devastating massacre in Pont-Sondé that claimed over 70 lives. The gang, which operates predominantly in the Artibonite region, is notorious for its brutal tactics and has been linked to severe human rights abuses. Elan was sanctioned by the United States in September 2024 for his role in supporting gang violence in Haiti.
