Ludovic II

Ludovic II, the last King of Hungary from the Jagello dynasty, ruled from 1516 until his death in 1526. Ascending the throne at a young age, his reign was characterized by political instability and military decline, culminating in the disastrous Battle of Mohács against the Ottomans, where he lost his life, leading to the fragmentation of Hungary and its occupation by Ottoman forces.
