Luis Alberto Cálix

Luis Alberto Cálix was the founder of the Aposento Alto church in Comayagüela, Honduras, and a prominent figure in the local evangelical community. His leadership spanned decades, during which he became a central figure for many congregants seeking spiritual guidance. Following his death in 2021, a power struggle emerged within the church, leading to a significant legal conflict over the church's control and property rights, culminating in a recent eviction of members by the National Police.
