Luu Anh Tuan

Luu Anh Tuan is a Vietnamese entrepreneur and chairman of Vietnam Rare Earth (VTRE), a company focused on mining and processing rare earth elements. He fled Vietnam to the U.S. to escape increasing Chinese influence over Vietnam's governance. Tuan was in the news for being arrested in Vietnam, where he was accused of forging tax documents and smuggling rare earth materials, after he signed a technology transfer agreement to bring critical rare earth separation technology to the U.S.
