Lyonell Fliss

Lyonell Fliss, aged 91, is one of the few survivors of the Iași pogrom that occurred 85 years ago, where he witnessed harrowing events as a child. In a recent interview, he recounted the traumatic experiences of being a 6-year-old boy during the pogrom and the challenges faced by Jewish families in communist Romania, ultimately escaping to South Africa.
