Teofan
Teofan is the Metropolitan of Moldova and Bukovina who has been appointed as the locum tenens for the Archdiocese of Chișinău and the Metropolitanate of Bessarabia, following the retirement announcement of Înaltpreasfințitul Petru. He will assume these responsibilities starting June 1, 2026, ensuring leadership continuity within the church during this transitional period.
